Engineers Week
Also known as EWeek, this annual celebration aims to foster awareness of the future of the engineering workforce.
Summary: Engineers Week, also known as EWeek, was founded in 1951 by the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE). Since its creation, this annual celebration has focused on advocating for the future of the engineering profession. According to the NSPE, more than 70 engineering, educational and cultural societies participate in EWeek every year. Corporations, businesses and schools are encouraged to participate in EWeek as well as celebrate engineers everywhere.
What to do: There is no traditional greeting for EWeek. DiscoverE, the “backbone organization” of EWeek, has created volunteer and educator planning guides for those looking to participate in the festivities.
