Take a walk. Just do it. For a walk is movement in a way one can not embody confined to the trappings of a car. Walking is a connection to your humanity. A walk is an instructional manual. Movement is how you survive in a world that excludes, that thrives on breaking you down, that wants nothing more than to see you give up. You push through it. You show them everything you have. You are the best without question. You take a walk. And you walk with purpose.

Walking is a connection to your humanity.

To move with purpose is to rebel against the world that manipulates how we exist within it. You push. You still keep going, keep progressing, keep finding new places to discover. You keep finding freedom in small forms. A walk is a slice of life. It is bits and pieces of pleasure, if only for a few moments, to stay yourself—alive and capable. Keep moving, for movement keeps your mind from succumbing to the pressures of the world, the inflammation of your memory, the reality of your lineage, the fear of failure in a crash and a life paused. It is not a perfect solution, but soon you’ll come to crave it. Going someplace—moving forward—is the chance to take back what has been taken from you. Keep a long stride, a straight back and your head held high. Take the first step. Then take another.
